Sales Specialist, Customer Service - Retail Tools & Machinery

Do you love working with tools and machinery? This role demands prolonged standing and requires the physical ability to move large bulky/heavy merchandise from time to time. You are responsible for providing excellent customer service through your product knowledge and active marketing of current sales and promotions.

The position is in Hamilton, ON.

Essential Tasks & Responsibilities
  • To serve as the store expert for the numerous tool and machinery products lines carried in our store by providing detailed product information to our customers.
  • Deliver the sales of products and services by determining the customer needs and recommending the best solutions
  • Maintain an up-to-date expertise of products, services, and promotions
  • Build customer relationships by being courteous, providing prompt and exceptional sales and after-sales service
  • Receive, check and confirm purchase orders, allocate special orders and contact customers, price and merchandise
  • Un/loading of trucks using various material handling equipment such as forklift, pump truck and dollies.
  • Prepare and complete orders for shipping, delivery or pickup
  • Transport and delivery of machinery and tool products to and from our warehouse, stores and customers
  • Assist in floor moves, display maintenance, and cleanup ensuring a safe and clean work environment
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the sales team.
